When I got the email from First Lady, Michelle Obama this morning, I said I was in.

I went to a core team phone bank yesterday, our group South Jersey Citizens for Change is having an Inaugural Ball on Monday Evening, and we were calling our volunteers to invite them, were just talking about how we're going to continue working on getting people organized to help pass legislation.sjterridnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7163441833245663827.post-85849526892786174492013-01-18T15:21:55.660-06:002013-01-18T15:21:55.660-06:00What I like about OFA is that it won't be Astr...What I like about OFA is that it won't be AstroTurf and it exerts a different kind of pressure on DC. It could be a response to Nixon's silent majority. Should we call it Liberal's Revenge? We aren't wealthy but we have numbers. It looks like we're getting more focused.

One of my complaints about politicians was that you only hear from them on election time. As if they only need to hear from you during the election cycle. I was really annoyed by the people that talked about voting as if that was all a person needed to do. All they did was justify the system's cynics and make it easy for the GOP.

This OFA looks like more people will be getting involved in various ways. I'm feeling optimistic about the future. The possibilities are endless.

Vic78Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
