I too am "pretty old", well just old really, but feel upbeat about our country. I was born and raised in a privileged white family in the Deep South. I was fortunate to find a young minister at a neighboring church that truly believed that all men were created equal and were equally valued by God. This became my rock while living through the late 50's and 60's of integration turmoil. I wish he were alive today to have heard Reverand President yesterday. The arc of the moral universe does bend toward justice. I truly believe this.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04416442163129970047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7163441833245663827.post-62411243593266339162015-06-27T12:55:04.526-05:002015-06-27T12:55:04.526-05:00Thank you for this. I watched the entire service ...Thank you for this. I watched the entire service on C-Span and then the President's eulogy three or four times yesterday and cried over and over again. I'm pretty old, but I don't think I've been as happy about the direction of the country since first JFK and then Obama were elected.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
