It's the false claim that 'my' job is mine alone and forever. In my somewhat polyannish world where humanity has common roots, common desires and needs, common goals, those (white supremacist legalists) will stop at nothing to deprive the Other of what s/he needs to make life a success on these shores. 'The Chinese Exclusion Law', the great mass mobilization of Japanese Americans into internment camps during WWII, the exclusionary policies that created separate but NOT equal education, the intentionally damaging real estate practices that created same race-only neighborhoods--these are all<br />manifestations of the binary claim that any job you have is a loss of that job for me. Witness today's explosion of 'gated communities' where the homebuyer is offered a 'safe' residential neighborhood. All this 'Great Replacement Theory' is just so much crap.
