Barack is not a politician first and foremost. He's a community activist exploring the viability of politics to make change.
- Michele Obama
No one can say for certain how this change will end, but I do know that change is not something that we should fear. When young people insist that the currents of history are on the move, the burdens of the past can be washed away. When men and women peacefully claim their human rights, our own common humanity is enhanced. Wherever the light of freedom is lit, the world becomes a brighter place.

The lights of freedom are being lit one by one, with increasing rapidity. (Today I read something about Syria and a planned protest for tomorrow). May the search for freedom continue at home and abroad with as little lives lost as possible.
ReplyDeleteVery moving photographs. Glad I checked in here.
ReplyDeletep.s. Like the title. 'Gentle Agitator', maybe? ;)
ReplyDeleteAh yes VC..."gentle agitator" would have been a good one.
ReplyDeleteI think we're seeing how a "community activist" uses politics to make change.
Worth it to read article. Especially. your appears utilized to secure the mind. I wouldn't have seen this alone. Must carefully examine old images to see this feature.
