We all know by now that a government shutdown was avoided late last night. And we know that the Republicans were not successful in eliminating funding for women's reproductive health care.

But before that deal was reached, Lawrence O'Donnell made a powerful argument about why these issues matter. He talked about truth, responsibility, and accountability. He also told one woman's story.
