Some perspective on crowd size

As I said in the post below, police estimate the size of the crowd at the Madison protest yesterday to be about 100,000.

Since there are those who compare this movement to the Tea Party, some perspective might be in order. The largest Tea Party protest was in DC on Feb. 13, 2009. The estimate of the crowd size that day was 60,000 - 70,000. And that was drawing on a national audience. We saw the meager size of what they could come up with in Madison (2,000?).
