The Soul Lives Contented

The soul lives contented
by listening,
if it wants to change
into the beauty of
terrifying shapes,
it tries to speak.

That's why
you will not sing,
afraid as you are
of who might join with you.

- David Whyte

I know you've heard this story before. But watch it again to remind yourself...

One voice can change a room. And if a voice can change a room, it can change a city. And if it can change a city, it can change a state. And if it can change a state, it can change a nation. And if it can change a nation, it can change the world.

Imagine yourself as Edith Childs walking into that rain-soaked rally in SC where only 20 people had shown up to hear from some Senator from Illinois who was running for president. She didn't worry whether anyone would join her chant of "fired up - ready to go!" She also didn't worry whether people would think she was silly. She spoke up and changed the room.

Are you fired up? Ready to go?

Let's sing!!!!
