As is usual, Chipsticks over at The Obama Diary is doing a wonderful job of chronicling it all. Bless you!!!!!
But there were a couple from today that just jumped out at me for the stories they told.

I can never get too many of these. On the one hand, you have Obama and his natural inclination to really engage children on their level...literally. But you also have the eagerness of children to get his attention. Its a mutual attraction.

This one grabbed me big time. I'm still trying to figure out why. The idealistic scenery of the farmland. And then the invasion of this motorcade. It gives you a sense of the bubble that so constrains and often seems to frustrate this President.

I'll let the President himself tell this story.
ebogan63 here. That is it in a nutshell, and seeing those little kids is why, at age 50, I will remain optomistic regarding the future, despite the troubles of this particular moment in time.
ReplyDeleteI loved the picture of the motorcade rolling through the Iowa countryside also. It reminded me of Field of Dreams. And thanks for the mention in your other post. I really appreciate it.
