Michelle Obama on Black History Month

To commemorate Black History Month, First Lady Michelle Obama gives a shout-out to African American women heros - and not just the ones in the history books.



There is a natural "we-ness" to her message that stuck me as powerful. Previous First Ladies could have said something similar. But not the same thing. I guess that's obvious. But that doesn't make it any less important.
