Panels 4 and 5 are especially striking -- that blacks are actually enrolled in college at a higher rate than whites are. I had no idea, and I doubt most people do. A great counter to the dehumanizing crap that's out there in the mass public mind.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I saw some stats back in the late '90s about the increase in college attendance rates since the 1970s by race and gender. Basically, every group had increased except white men, who had declined slightly. But the largest increase was for black women, who had increased college attendance by an amazing 950%.
