No game-changer for Romney in jobs report this month

With the new Quinnipiac poll showing President Obama with substantial leads in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania (+6, +6 and +11 respectively), Romney's uphill climb in the electoral college appears to get even more steep.

As I've been saying all along, he needs a big game-changer (and then the ability to exploit it) to have a prayer of winning this thing.

Of course the main thing he and the Republicans have been counting on is a clear sign that the economy is getting worse. And from the looks of the ADP report today, he's not going to get it.
The ADP jobs report blew past expectations at 163K. Analysts expected 120K.
When you hear people reporting on this today, you'll find caveats that ADP often does not line up well with the Labor Department report we'll get this Friday. But remember that they usually trend in the same direction. So we might not get great news later this week, but you can be pretty sure it won't be the kind that is a game-changer in this election.
