Jay Smooth on Learning the Craft of Being Good

It's all well and good to point fingers at someone who said/did something racist/sexist/homophobic, etc. But Jay Smooth suggests that each of us has to work daily at the craft of being good. This is just what I needed to hear today. So I thought I'd share it with you.

  1. It's not enough to be "good at your craft" when your skin color disqualifies you from the basic the right to breathe air, own a home, vote, earn a raise or even be a world leader whose religious beliefs, racial dna, patriotism, etc. is never questioned 24/7 365. Good luck with trying to prove otherwise.
