Jay Smooth on Learning the Craft of Being Good

It's all well and good to point fingers at someone who said/did something racist/sexist/homophobic, etc. But Jay Smooth suggests that each of us has to work daily at the craft of being good. This is just what I needed to hear today. So I thought I'd share it with you.

It's not enough to be "good at your craft" when your skin color disqualifies you from the basic the right to breathe air, own a home, vote, earn a raise or even be a world leader whose religious beliefs, racial dna, patriotism, etc. is never questioned 24/7 365. Good luck with trying to prove otherwise.
