I saw mention of one of these returns a couple of days ago in the comment section of one of my favourite blogs. I wasn't sure what to make of the news then, and I'm still not sure what to make of it now. It really would be great if the al-Qaeda groups all crumbled one by one, but that seems too much to hope for. Still, I think I'm going to be optimistic and hope that bin Laden was such a key figure that his death does create a major, major shaking of the groups' structure.
