Awww...Steve noticed!

Anyone who reads here often has probably figured this out - but I've never said it outright. Today I will. Steve Benen is my favorite writer on the internet. He's thorough, thoughtful and incredibly prolific.

On top of all that, today he noticed.

It’s a trivial point, of course, but I think it’s clear the president is awfully good with kids.

I would argue that it is NOT trivial...not at all. So many of our politicians spout platitudes about children being our future. In President Obama, we have one that demonstrates he actually believes it!

    I would love to see a book of photos with President Obama interacting with kids and their response to him. He almost always looks directly into their eyes and they at him.

    How many adults, let alone politicians actually do that. I find it extraordinary.
