Ode to the 99%

I'm not typically a big fan of country music. But today Matt Osborne posted this song with some wonderful commentary (go read it!)

Alan Jackson has a powerful message for those of us who tend to see the plight of the 99%ers through the lens of liberal urban America.

  1. That is a great video. I am not much into country music either so I didn't even know who Alan Jackson was but I am glad to hear that there are important people in the south stepping up to work for Pres. Obama's reelection!

    In the interview then Senator Obama mentions the 1%, the broken political system, the Republican party moving farther into the ideological right and other points that are still coming up today. It must pain him that so little has changed since 2006.
