Oh THANK YOU, Nanc! I also listened to them sing "Imagine" which just about undid me, in a good way. I needed a release and there it was. I spend most of this day hanging out in positive spaces like this, and I feel 200% better just getting away from the tension and negativity I drowning in elsewhere. These kids are just incredible.
ReplyDeletescribe - I'm so glad you're feeling better. And yes, we all ned a dose of what these kids have!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, SP. I decided to start my blog day with you today, and I'm obviously now off on a 'warm' start. :-) Thank you.
ReplyDeleteLooking at the video of the kids, the thought came to mind that the slice of America that is represented here is one the GOPers need to wake up to. I also thought of the poignancy of this very mixture of Americans singing "I'll Stand by You' to each other with great feeling. THIS is the future and no amount of obstruction on the GOPers' part is going to hold this back forever. So glad we have a sensitive president who embraces the future and wants to help America stand strong in the 21st century!
Enjoy your day!
VC - I always think the same thing when I watch a video of these kids.
ReplyDeleteI know it scares the Republicans to death. But for me - its pure inspiration!
