ReplyDeleteI've learned in the years since 2009 that every time the poutragers start screaming their fool heads off, it's generally a good idea to wait a day or so while actual facts are examined. Once they are, the reason they're screaming turns out to be mostly an excuse to make noise. Oh, and to ask for money.
ReplyDeleteThe other interesting thing I've seen about how the itty bitty hissy fit committee operates is once they've had their hissy fit, they got nothin'. Our local itty bitty sent out an email to our internal Dems list with links to all the bombast and then crickets. No plan for how to fix SS. No follow through. He's just sitting there in his mother's basement pounding his keyboard. They'll cue up the music again once the budget is actually released, but honestly it's all a big yawn at this point. At least we got the cute kitten picture this time.
