I wrote earlier today about how the Republicans are trying to make hay out of their inability to "trust" President Obama on immigration reform because he delayed implementation of the employer mandate in Obamacare.
That's an interesting strategy coming from the same folks who refuse to comply with the law themselves. Just a couple of months ago Boehner and McConnell wrote a letter to the President saying that they refuse to submit recommendations for membership to the Independent Payment Advisory Board - something Obamacare requires them to do.
I remember at the time thinking to myself, "Can Congress simply refuse to do something the law requires them to do?" If so, that's a pretty BFD!
Anyway, now that they're so busy criticizing President Obama about the mandate delay, what I'm thinking is, "Can you spell p.r.o.j.e.c.t.i.o.n?"

"Can you spell p.r.o.j.e.c.t.i.o.n?"
ReplyDeleteIt really is striking, isn't it? EVERYTHING they say is projection, and their complete lack of self-awareness means they'll never realize it.
A long time ago before I had run across the word projection I had written something that turned out to be the definition, of that word..... more or less.
ReplyDeleteI used to respond with, "Each and every time a republican/conservative tries to describe a Democrat/Liberal they always.............ALWAYS describe themselves.
Sometimes I wonder if, as RT says, they never realize it? OR do they just think that we are so dumb we won't notice?
